Happy Birthday, Jennie!

Happy Birthday, Jennie! I am really sorry you have to put up with a sister like me--I totally overlooked your birthday AGAIN! I had it written in my pocket calendar and was planning to call, but then I didn't notice the date again until today. This is another example about why do I need a pocket calendar if I'm not going to use it consistently to remember important dates?

I will call later on today (during more "normal" hours) to grovel and beg for your forgiveness. It must really stink having a sister who totally forgets your birthday--ESPECIALLY since you are so faithful in remembering mine!
